چکیده

We investigate human robot interaction under no-visibility conditions. A major precondition for successful human-robot cooperation in these circumstances is that the human trusts and has confidence in the robot. In order to enhance human trust and confidence we have to make design choices that impact on a number of ethical issues. We also look at the interaction between a visual impaired person and a guide dog for clues to enhance confidence. The interaction consists of mixed initiative and the guide dog does not have full navigation responsibilities. This model seems also appropriate for human-robot interaction and might in addition be a useful example regarding evaluating the ethical issues of human robot interaction.

An Experimental Study on Blinking and Eye Movement Detection via EEG Signals for Human-Robot Interaction Purposes Based on a Spherical 2-DOF Parallel Robot

Blinking and eye movement are one of the most important abilities that most people have, even people with spinal cord problem. By using this ability these people could handle some of their activities such as moving their wheelchair without the help of others. One of the most important fields in Human-Robot Interaction is the development of artificial limbs working with brain signals. The purpos...

Towards Modeling Real-Time Trust in Asymmetric Human-Robot Collaborations

We are interested in enhancing the efficiency of human-robot collaborations, especially in “supervisor-worker” settings where autonomous robots work under the supervision of a human operator. We believe that trust serves a critical role in modeling the interactions within these teams, and also in streamlining their efficiency. We propose an operational formulation of human-robot trust on a shor...

A confidence-aware interval-based trust model

It is a common and useful task in a web of trust to evaluate the trust value between two nodes using intermediate nodes. This technique is widely used when the source node has no experience of direct interaction with the target node, or the direct trust is not reliable enough by itself. If trust is used to support decision-making, it is important to have not only an accurate estimate of trust, ...
